My beloved dogs
Since I was a little child I always had the wish to have a dog. I tried to convince my parents, but it wouldn't be a wise decision to adoped a puppy in the city.
And so years passed, but my dream was still there....
In 2004 my family and me moved to the "countyside" of Vienna and on christmas eve my dream came true:
Under our christmas-tree there was a blue lead lying and my parents told my brother and me that we are going to get a West Highland White Terrier puppy in February.
Time passed slowly; I read a lot of books about dogs and how to treat them right; I found out what a puppy needs, what they have to eat, and so on.... We also bought lots of stuff for the puppy and fixed the name for it: Snoopy! And this is the stroy how Snoopy became a new familymember.
But one dog was simply not enough and so my family and me decided to get a second one. We looked for a Terrier again (as the quote "once a Terrier, always a Terrier" says) and found the perfect breed for us: a Cairn Terrier.
We had luck and a breeder in Vienna had a litter at the moment. Therefore we visited her and we found a cute little male there. When I sat down, he came to me, bit into my socks and put them off - I fell in love with him right at this moment!!!
And so Big Ben moved to us and is now a fixed element of our family :) ....
In summer 2011 the wish "having a pup again" grew and the whole family looked for a breed which would fit to us. After some suggestions, we found it: the Jack Russell Terrier - a little, fast and enthusiastic dog and the best it was a TERRIER again.
On October 2nd, we got to know a brownish puppy, which was named - what a surprise ;) - Brownie!
